All Berkeley Dog Beds come with a full 5 Year Guarantee from date of purchase against defects in materials or workmanship.

Whilst we choose all our fabric materials very carefully to ensure maximum durability you should expect general wear and tear to occur. As such our waterproof and other fabric covers are excluded from this guarantee but we do hold a full range of replacement covers in stock for purchase.

It is the bed owner's responsibility to regularly and frequently check the cover for signs of degradation / moisture ingress and to replace the cover accordingly.

Our guarantee and obligation does not cover general wear and tear, neglect, abuse, inappropriate use or cleaning, any damage deemed by us to have been caused by chewing, ripping, excessive abrasion or the adverse effects of urine or excrement or any consequential damage resulting from any of these.

Although the fabric of our waterproof covers has a high degree of water resistance to prevent the topical ingress of moisture, the construction of the covers is such that moisture ingress is possible through seams and openings. As such, we do not recommend that our Orthopaedic Mattresses are kept outdoors, in areas of extreme damp or used where there may be a risk of leakage in the case of incontinence.
