These are large, whole-fleece, premium quality British Sheepskin Rugs with a deep, luxurious soft pile, not to be confused with 'pet grade' or far inferior imported sheepskins.

We source our Sheepskin Rugs direct from the Yorkshire Dales and each fleece is hand-selected and trimmed especially for us.

Wool naturally traps air within its fibres providing perfect natural insulation - warm in winter yet cool in summer.

It also has excellent moisture wicking properties absorbing up to 30% of its own weight in moisture without feeling wet, to help keep damp away from your dog's body..

Perfect for use as a stylish rug or throw to protect soft furnishings, as a luxury topper on our Raised Dog Beds or as a soft, breathable lining for dog strollers.

The deep, warm, hypoallergenic, soft pile makes them ideal for post-surgery applications or to add extra cushioning for sore and arthritic joints.

The soft tanned leather backs help prevent slipping on any surface.

All Berkeley Dog Beds come with a full 5 Year Guarantee from date of purchase against defects in materials or workmanship.

Whilst we choose all our fabric materials very carefully to ensure maximum durability you should expect general wear and tear to occur. As such our waterproof and other fabric covers are excluded from this guarantee but we do hold a full range of replacement covers in stock for purchase.

It is the bed owner's responsibility to regularly and frequently check the cover for signs of degradation / moisture ingress and to replace the cover accordingly.

Our guarantee and obligation does not cover general wear and tear, neglect, abuse, inappropriate use or cleaning, any damage deemed by us to have been caused by chewing, ripping, excessive abrasion or the adverse effects of urine or excrement or any consequential damage resulting from any of these.

Although the fabric of our waterproof covers has a high degree of water resistance to prevent the topical ingress of moisture, the construction of the covers is such that moisture ingress is possible through seams and openings. As such, we do not recommend that our Orthopaedic Mattresses are kept outdoors, in areas of extreme damp or used where there may be a risk of leakage in the case of incontinence.
