Returns Policy

We are confident you will be happy with the purchase of one of our quality dog beds, but should you want to return/exchange any item bought from us please follow the instructions below.

Returns – You have a 14 working day cooling off period after receiving your order. You must contact Berkeley Dog Beds Limited in the first instance to arrange the return/exchange of the items, giving your reason for return. This can be done via info@berkeleydogbeds.co.uk

Please note – this does not apply to any bespoke product including our Berkeley Oak Bed (unless faulty) – these cannot be returned.

Unfortunately we are unable to accept returns on any items purchased in our sale unless they are faulty.

Exchanges – For an exchange, we ask you place a note in the package with your specific requirements. Where we have not been at fault, we will ask you to cover all shipping costs. The product must be in ‘as new’ and re-saleable condition on return as judged by ourselves.

Faulty Products – Orders are checked before being dispatched and are packaged well to avoid damage during transit, however, if your order is damaged or faulty when you receive it please notify us within 48 hours and return the faulty goods within 14 days of the notification. Despite the fact that the goods are faulty, they must be returned to us and you are responsible for their safe return so please make sure that the goods are suitably packaged and that you obtain proof of postage. On larger items we can help book the return courier but you are responsible for packaging the product appropriately and for obtaining proof of postage. If you are exchanging a faulty product we will send a replacement to you free of charge providing the faulty goods are received. If we dispatch a replacement before receiving the faulty goods ‘on trust’ you will still need to return the faulty goods to us within 28 days or you will be invoiced for the full price of the replacement product plus shipping.

Return Postage – Please note we are not liable for any packages lost in the post, and therefore suggest the item must be sent back using a trackable/recorded delivery method as it was dispatched. This is to avoid lost items and so that we can track your item. If returned within the cooling off period, a refund for the product price and delivery charge will be initiated once we have received the returned goods. The customer will be responsible for the delivery cost for returning the items unless there has been an error on our part or the item is faulty. If we do not receive goods that you have sent back to us, and if we have already issued a refund, you will be re-charged for the full price of the product as it is your responsibility to return the goods to us in a saleable condition.

Product Guarantee – Our quality dog beds are subject to a 5 Year Guarantee from date of purchase against any defect in materials or workmanship. Whilst we choose all our fabric materials very carefully to ensure maximum durability you should expect general wear and tear to occur. As such our waterproof and other fabric covers are excluded from this guarantee but we do hold a full range of replacement covers in stock for purchase.

Our guarantee does not cover general wear and tear, neglect, abuse, inappropriate use or cleaning or any damage deemed by us to have been caused by chewing, ripping or excessive abrasion.
